1. The service
ClassQ is a classroom Q&A app: students submit questions during live
sessions, similar questions are grouped automatically, and instructors
respond. By creating an account or using the app you agree to these
terms. If you don't agree, don't use ClassQ.
2. Accounts
- You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your credentials secure.
- You are responsible for activity that happens under your account.
- You may delete your account at any time in Settings → Delete account, or via classq.tech/delete-account.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Post content that is harassing, hateful, sexually explicit, or otherwise abusive. Automated moderation and instructors may remove such content and we may suspend the responsible account.
- Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with a class or institution.
- Attempt to probe, disrupt, or overload the service, or access data belonging to other users.
- Use the service to violate your school's academic policies.
4. Your content
You keep ownership of the questions and responses you post. You grant
ClassQ a limited license to store, display, and process that content to
operate the service — including automated grouping of similar questions
and transcription of voice recordings. Instructors of a course can see
and moderate content posted in that course.
5. Subscriptions and billing
- Some instructor features require a paid subscription (Standard or Pro), billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play as an auto-renewing subscription.
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before renewal.
- Manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store or Google Play account settings — deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
- Prices are shown in the app before purchase. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their respective policies.
6. Service changes and availability
We may add, change, or remove features, and we may suspend or terminate
accounts that violate these terms. The service is provided "as is"
without warranties of any kind; we do not guarantee uninterrupted
availability. To the maximum extent permitted by law, ClassQ's liability
is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the twelve months
before the claim.
7. Privacy
How we collect and use data is described in our
Privacy Policy.
